FAQs Customer Reviews Related Products

How are these cells shipped, and what is the cell count?

The cells are shipped frozen on dry ice in a cryopreservation medium. Each vial contains a guaranteed cell count, which you can confirm on the product-specific datasheet or by contacting our sales team.

What quality control is performed on this specific cell lot?

Like all our primary cells, this product is rigorously tested and confirmed negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi, and yeast. We also verify positive expression of the CD11b marker via flow cytometry.

Are these cells cancerous, or are they "normal" macrophages from a diseased animal?

These cells are isolated from the diseased animal, providing a relevant cellular model for studying the context of malignant histiocytosis. Their specific characteristics should be considered in your experimental design.
