Macrophage Common Marker Development Service

Macrophages are ubiquitous in the body and play a prominent role in the immune response. To analyze macrophages comprehensively, the key is using reliable markers to distinguish macrophages from other cell types. Creative Biolabs has over a decade of working experience in the research of macrophage markers. Based on transcriptional profiling analysis and other analysis methods, many novel markers to discriminate between macrophages and other cells have been identified. Our experienced scientists are glad to apply this special expertise to help our global clients with their cutting-edge projects.

Importance of Macrophages

Widely distributed throughout the body, macrophages are mononuclear cells that arise from the myeloid progenitors of the hematopoietic system. They are considered to be the prototypic phagocytes of the innate immune system. Macrophages are involved in the detection, phagocytosis and destruction of bacteria and other harmful organisms. In addition, they can also present antigens to T cells and release cytokines to activate other immune effector cells. Further, macrophages circulate within almost every tissue, patrolling for pathogens or eliminating dead or damaged cells. Understanding the dynamics of macrophage gene expression is important for the study of human diseases. Therefore, it is paramount to identify reliable markers to distinguish macrophages from other cell types.

Macrophage Common Marker Development Service at Creative Biolabs

Previous studies have indicated that the discrimination of macrophages, monocytes, fibrocytes, and fibroblasts is possible. To distinguish macrophages from monocytes, fibrocytes, and fibroblasts, markers have been identified, such as CD45RO, 25F9, S100A8/A9, and PM-2K. A team of outstanding scientists at Creative Biolabs has focused on the discovery and development of common markers of macrophage for many years. Our technology is mainly based on transcriptional profiling analysis by bulk RNAseq/single-cell RNAseq and qPCR. Macrophage-specific genes can be identified effectively through this strategy and some auxiliary methods, including subcellular localization analysis, immune function analysis and immunohistochemistry assay. Creative Biolabs is well equipped and versed in the identification of new macrophage common markers. We are glad to serve our global clients with professionalism and expertise in macrophage common marker development.

Highlights of Our Service Including but Not Limited to:

  • Subcellular localization analysis
  • Transcriptional profiling analysis by bulk RNAseq/single-cell RNAseq and qPCR
  • Immune function analysis through the examination of the immune response gene profiles
  • Immunohistochemistry assay with a large panel of antibodies

Besides, we have developed a comprehensive range of high-quality antibodies targeting conventional common markers, such as CD68, CD11b, CD14 and CCR5. We are also offering highly customized antibodies according to your needs.

With proven experience in the research of macrophage markers, Creative Biolabs is an ideal company to entrust with your business. For more detailed information, please feel free to contact us or send us your inquiry or question.
