Description

With linker for activation of B cells (LAB) knockout, this product is isolated from the bone marrow of pathogen-free laboratory C57BL/6 mice after immortalization with a recombinant retrovirus, which contains the v-raf and myc oncogenes. This product is negative in the tests of mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi and yeast. The expression of CD11b is positive by flow cytometry. It is guaranteed to further culture in the conditions provided by Creative Biolabs. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended.

Upon receiving, transfer this product directly from dry ice to liquid nitrogen(-150°C~-190°C) and store it in a liquid nitrogen tank.

Why would I want to use a LAB knockout macrophage?

The product title mentions "LAT/LAB knockout" in another product (JF50). What is the difference?

This product (JF49) is a single knockout of LAB (Lat2). The other product (JF50) is a double knockout of both LAB (Lat2) and the closely related adaptor protein LAT (Lat1), which is the "Linker for Activation of T cells." You would choose this single KO (JF49) if you specifically want to isolate the function of LAB while leaving the LAT-dependent pathways intact.

These are bone marrow-derived macrophages from C57BL/6 LAB KO mice, which have been immortalized with v-raf and myc oncogenes to create a stable cell line.
